YOU are such an important part of what we do for young moms and their children at Living Grace Homes. YOU make sure that we are able to continue to be a unique but integral service in the Clark County area. There are so many aspects and services at Living Grace Homes that are not available any place else in the valley.
So far in 2022 Living Grace Homes has provided a safe haven, a warm bed and food to 63 young moms and their children, for a total of 106 individuals, in 63 families! In addition we have assisted 32 young families that didn’t need shelter but needed some form of assistance,i.e., diapers, a high chair, a crib, baby clothes, etc.
We however cannot provide all the services these young women and their children need, so we strive to partner and collaborate with other big hearted, loving non-profits and foundations that either serve the same population or offer unique services.
B.E.A.Shero Foundation was founded as an umbrella organization to bring together non-profits that focus on supporting young women and their children who have been abused, neglected, and abandoned. A Teen Board is an important part of how Shero reaches out and helps organizations Like Living Grace Homes, whether it is their annual Gala, the Fashion Show, or just a cooking and exercise day, the Teen Board learns the value of giving back at the beginning of their productive lives! By sharing with young women in vulnerable situations they learn from each other, bringing together young people from diverse backgrounds, helps them realized that they are not all that different, and they are in this together!
Help of Southern Nevada has also been a long-time partner with Living Grace Homes. Their education and employment programs have benefited many of the young moms. A joint effort to end pregnant teen homelessness, we refer back and forth depending on the needs of our clients, and who has availability to fill those needs.
The Shannon West youth shelter allows young couples to know that if a young mom comes to Living Grace Homes, her boyfriend can also find shelter and assistance through Help and the Shannon West Shelter. The goal is to help both young people escape homelessness, get on their feet and work toward building an intact, stable home for their child. Working together, we build opportunities and shared HOPE!
NPHY, Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth has been a trail blazer in providing an array of services to homeless youth. From helping them finish school to, employment and transitioning into their own housing, NPHY led the way. When Living Grace Homes came on the scene almost 16 years ago, they no longer house pregnant young women, however we continue to collaborate
St. Jude’s Crossing, Family Promise, HopeLink of Henderson, Catholic Charities and many more working together to make our community a safer, more compassionate city!
When we work together, we change the lives of young moms, and often times change the family tree!
